Gem labradorite also known as Oregon sunstone is one of the hottest new gems on the market. Oregon is the only place in the world where colored sunstone is proven to be found, and is the Oregon state gemstone.
Gem labradorite is a high quality feldspar found in many different colors including: clear, yellow, schiller, pink, orange, red, green, blue, and purple. The rarest is the blue and purple. It also has what is called dichroic, which is when one stone contains two colors and changes between the colors as you move it. It is also known to change colors in different light types.
